You're Island Through and Through

     

     In October, we got two free tickets for the award-winning musical Anne and Gilbert, which is a sequel to the original musical play. We saw in the paper that Timothy's (coffee shop) was giving the tickets away so while I was in Charlottetown one day, I picked them up. The Anne and Gilbert Musical was at the end of its run and is very popular in P.E.I. It is performed in a small venue across the street from where the Anne of Green Gables musical is performed. The play is energetic with lots of dancing and singing.

     The most popular song from the musical is You're Island Through and Through. Here are the words of the song. It pretty much summarizes the island experience.
