Kittens and More Kittens

Here is an update on the fostering of kittens.

Last week, we got a call asking if we could bring in Momma Kitty (her real name is Gaylette). The shelter had just received an abandoned kitten which was found on the side of the road. Since Momma Kitty is still nursing, they wanted her to try to nurse this little 10-day old kitten. So we brought her back to the SPCA shelter..

A few days later we got a call asking if we could return the 4 kittens (now 9 weeks old) and foster back 5 abandoned kittens. Here are some final pictures of the first litter that we fostered:
Siblings will put up with anything
Are you looking at me?
What's out there?
Warm sun!
Sweet sleep

Who's in there?
It's ME!

Two cuties

I'm the king of the castle! Hear me roar!!
Taking them in to the shelter
So we brought them home along with the mother. They are all about the same age, around 12 days old when we received them. They are not very mobile yet; still learning how to use their legs.

Five new Kittens. Same Mom
They're so small!
How did I get over here?
Learning to walk and climb (Bev's leg)
Lunch time
Guess which one is not the sibling?
So cute!
A ball of fur!
What can I say? They are all so cute!
Apparently we will have these kittens until some time in December some time.  More photos to come as they grow.
