I have been to several busker festivals before and mostly enjoyed them, although most acts fall into three categories: fire, juggling and circus acrobatics. Sometimes, the act will consist of a combination of these.
He also did some magic stunts.
This guy specialized in handstands and did many stunts while only balanced on his hands. Incredibly strong! |
The Big Wheel act. It must be very easy to get crushed fingers or pinched skin until you get proficient! |
A kilted, bagpipe-playing unicyclist. |
Playing an extra-long didgeridoo, an Australian wind instrument. There are no finger holes to vary the sound. It is all done with the mouth. |
More fire jugglers |
In my experience, most major cities seem to hold a busker festival every summer. Plan to attend one. They can be very entertaining. It is like a small-scale circus event.
Hello - I've enjoyed reading your posts about your time exploring New Brunswick. What a terrific idea to travel the country and experience each province in depth. You are role models for retirement adventure! I want to give you a heads up that the city in New Brunswick is spelled SAINT John, not ST. John. We have to be careful because there is a city in Newfoundland with a similar spelling, and travellers have made mistakes in the past. Thank you!
