Fall Colours

The foliage along the trails in the Fredericton area.
In New Brunswick, the fall colours have been outstanding. We live in downtown Fredericton and there are an abundance of old trees that have brilliant red and yellow leaves.  One weekend, we went to a Fall Fest at Poley Mountain, a ski resort, to see the fall colours.

     This is what we saw:

A pile of pumpkins
First, we took the chair lift up the mountain
We could see across the valley. Trees with greens, reds,
yellows and golds. Beautiful!
Walking down the mountain.
Large Maple leaves

Many visitors had a ride on a horse-drawn wagon.
I have never seen such a large Maple Leaf
Before we start down the mountain.
It is nice to be able to see the colours as you drive into the countryside. It was a great day of colours and hiking. Walking down a mountain is not always easy (my aching hips) but we made it down with no mishap and we admired our surroundings along the way.
